If you've been on social media lately you will see the go to product for lace wig application is Got2B glued. I would like readers to understand that this is not long-term hold bonding agent, it is a temporary adhesive/gel- like super strong hair spray.

Length of wear depends on, weather, if you sweat a lot or have oily skin. You may have a little more difficulty with hold. However here are some tips and tricks to get the product to work for you- patience, patience and patience again is key!

Step 1 – Cleanse the Area

The best way to ensure you have a very secure hold is to remove any sebum, sweat, and product build-up from the area. Rubbing alcohol is perfect for this however if you are sensitive to alcohol simply wash your face with your normal cleanser and pat dry.

Step 2 – Apply a Thin Layer and Dry Completely

One of the easiest ways to achieve maximum hold is to create a barrier between the Got2B glued and your skin. This can be achieved by applying a thin layer of product and drying it completely using a blow dryer on the cool setting. Once it is completely dry, you will have a good base for a stronger hold.

Step 3 – Apply a layer and Dry Until Tacky 1-3 Times

Okay so we've made it to step 3 three- still with me? I know, I know no one said "flawless" was easy.  So layering is your friend, don't worry about flaking and the dreaded "white residue" just be patient with this step and you'll be okay.

Use an eyebrow brush, flat foundation brush, or a Q-tip to apply a thin layer. Spread the product evenly, less is more don't forget to keep your hands free of product. Allow enough time it’s sticky to touch, not happy with one layer? Try two, for a super strong hold apply 3 layers. Pro tip: once you're done applying all your layers blast the area with Got2B hair spray.

Step 4 – Apply the Lace in Sections

Now, time to apply your lace. Do this slowly and in sections. Begin by applying the middle of the wig to the centre of the forehead- for perfect alignment. Lastly apply the sides by pressing them over and into the gel.

Step 5- Wrap Perimeter with a Scarf

Wrap it up! Place your scarf around the perimeter of your head allowing time for it to dry COMPLETELY. This step is one of the most important steps. You need to allow the gel to dry completely in order to achieve a maximum hold. It's time to lay and slay ladies see you on the fleek side.
